Gilman General Manager

    I started my lumber career in 1985 and I have lived in the central Illinois / Chicagoland area since 1988 along with my wife of 32 years.  I have held many different positions through out my career  and have managed various sizes of yards , ranging from large contractor yards to smaller retail stores .

    I joined Alexander Lumber in Nov 2007 as a outside sales rep  and then was promoted to yard  manager in Nov  2008 . I was attracted to Alexander Lumber because they are a family owned company that truly cares about their employees and knows the lumber business .

   The companies moralistic values as well as the current business practices are setting the goals for others to follow in the  lumber industry . I feel honored to work with some exceptional co workers and customers . The customer relationships that have been built over the last 7 years  are the reason for the revitalization  that the Gilman location has experienced.  I look forward to growing these relationships  as well as,  developing relationships with new customers. 

The future of our company and the Gilman location is bright .
